Susquehanna University shot the top rounds in Saturday's third round and Sunday's fourth round to capture the 2009-10 Empire 8 Men's Golf Championship title. The Crusaders shot rounds of 302 and 312 at the Susquehanna Valley Country Club to finish 17 shots ahead of five-time defending champion St. John Fisher College. Susquehanna University sits in first place out of eight teams with a four-man-best total of 909 (including the first two rounds from this past fall at Blue Heron Hills Country Club in Macedon, N.Y.). St. John Fisher College takes a four-shot lead over Susquehanna University as the 2009-10 Empire 8 Men’s Golf Championship concludes with the third and fourth rounds at the Susquehanna Valley Country Club on Saturday and Sunday. St. John Fisher College, seeking its sixth consecutive conference title, maintained its four-shot lead after the second round of the 2009-10 Empire 8 Men's Golf Championship.
