Max Orenstein, Ithaca College
Jr., Trumbull, CT/Trumbull HS

Orenstein was a member of the Ithaca 400-meter relay team that ran a school-record time of 41.84 seconds at the Oneonta May Meet.  He also won the 100-meter dash in 11.04 seconds.  At the MIT Qualifying Challenge, he ran 10.85 seconds in the 100 meters, placing second.

Junior Max Orenstein was a member of the Ithaca 400-meter relay team that ran a school-record 42.01 seconds and placed third at the ECAC Championships.  He also finished third in the 100-meter dash (10.83 seconds) and the 200-meter dash (21.76 seconds)… Junior Brian Walker broke a 36-year-old RIT school record in the hammer throw, finishing eighth overall with a toss of 51.50 meters.  John Koch set the previous mark of 50.86 meters in 1974.  Matt Marion placed third of 22 runners in the 400-meter hurdles in 53.90 seconds… Junior Mohamed Abuouf of Stevens finished the 110-meter hurdles in 15.11 seconds and anchored the 400-meter relay team composed of David Echervarria, Greg McLeod, and Olutossin Olugbenga that finished seventh in the ECAC meet after being seeded 13th.
