Ithaca Men's Cross Country Fourth at Hamilton Invitational
Clinton, N.Y. – The Ithaca men’s cross country team raced to a fourth-place finish in a field of nine squads on Saturday at the Hamilton Invitational.
Sophomore David Geary (Brighton/Rochester) led the Bombers in 11th place finishing in 28 minutes, 6.40 seconds ahead of junior Jacob Brower (Downers Grove/Downers Grove, Ill.) who crossed the line in 28:20.40 good for 13th place.
Sophomore Chris Lotsbom (Walpole/Walpole, Mass.) was the third runner in an Ithaca uniform to finish. Lotsbom secured a time of 28:55.30 in 27th place. Finishing 45th, sophomore Paul Jensen (Binghamton/Binghamton) ran the eight-kilometer course in 29:32.30, while freshman Sam Horwath (Kutztown/Kutztown, Pa.) was the fifth Bomber in scoring position as he finished 54th in 30:10.60.
