Strong Times Lead Ithaca to Third-Place Finish at Hamilton Invitational
Clinton, N.Y. – The Ithaca women’s cross country squad competed to place third out of nine competing teams at the Hamilton Invitational on Saturday.
Sophomore Ebonie Howard (North Country Union/North Troy, Vt.) finished fourth overall on the five-kilometer course with a time of 19 minutes and 17.70 seconds to lead the Bombers. Her time was over two minutes faster than her previous season-best 5K finish.
Finishing eighth overall freshman Ally Bartkowiak also tallied a season-best time with a time of 19:28.10.
Sophomore Meghan Shanley (Conestoga/Berwyn, Pa.) finished 33rd overall followed by freshman Mikayla Gaspary (Malta/Ballston Spa) in 34th place with times of 20:40.70 and 20:41.30, respectively.
Rounding out the scoring five was sophomore Annmarie Charno(Seaford/Plainedge) with a 21:18.70 finish good for 45th place.
