Cardinals Post First Victory of the Season

The St. John Fisher College men's soccer team held the Bombers scoreless for 90 minutes before capitalizing in overtime, earning its first win of the season, a 1-0 victory over visiting Ithaca.

Fisher, now 1-6-2 on the season, dominated the field during play, coming out with an 18-13 shot advantage in the end and narrowly missing on several key opportunities during regulation.

The Cardinals came out firing in overtime.  4:30 into the first ten-minute section, Austin Buckley retrieved the loose ball that bounced off the goalie after a shot on the right side, nailing it back in the same place and past the goalkeeper.
