The St. John Fisher College women's soccer team won its third straight game on Wednesday as the Cardinals scored early and often, picking up a 4-0 win over visiting Alfred University.

With the win, Fisher improves to 5-9-2 overall and 2-4-1 in the Empire 8, while Alfred drops to 3-7-3, 0-6.  The Cardinals still have a shot at earning an Empire 8 Championship bid, but most beat Utica on October 30th and have RIT lose to Elmira College.

Senior Amanda Siebert but Fisher up for good in the 11th minute, scoring her second goal of the season off a pass from Sarah Bihl.

The Cardinals tacked on two goals in the first 10 minutes of the second half, both by freshman Alexa Capozzi; Capozzi flicked the ball over the goalie's head and tapped in her fifth goal of the season two minutes in the second half and added her second goal nearly seven minutes later with Bihl registering her second assist of the night.

Chelsea Oberkrieser closed out the scoring with five minutes left with Kaytlyn Perotti collecting the assist.

Jessica Plukas stopped one shot to earn the shutout.

After scoring seven goals in the first 13 games, the Cardinals have tallied 14 goals in the last three contests.
