The St. John Fisher College women's volleyball team honored Liz Patrone and Sydney Kandefer as the two played in the final home match of their career on senior night at Manning & Napier Varsity Gym, leading Fisher to a 3-1 non-conference win over visiting RIT.

The Cardinals battled to a 29-27 win to take the lead 1-0 in the match.  In game two, a 25-17 loss, Kandefer surpassed the 1,000 career kill plateau, giving the senior something more to celebrate on the night.

Revved up after a loss in game two, Fisher turned around to cruise to a 25-18 win in game three before another close battle in a 26-24 win in game four to take the match in four sets.

Becca Smith led the Cardinals with 18 kills, while newcomer Rachael Kline tallied 12 and Kandefer chipped in with 10. Amy Street recorded a phenomenal showing, tallying 46 assists and a team-best five service aces and 18 digs on the night.  Smith added another 15 in the digs column, while Jenna Rath and senior Patrone each picked up 14.
