Ithaca's Harness Wins B Singles Consolation Bracket at William Smith
Geneva, N.Y. - The Ithaca women's tennis team took part in the Mary Hosking Invitational, hosted by William Smith, Saturday and Sunday. Junior Kelsey Harness (Allegan/Allegan, Mich.) won two matches Sunday and captured the B Singles consolation bracket. Sophomore Cristina Nunez (Morris Hills/Rockaway, N.J.) and senior Melissa Nunez (Morris Hills/Rockaway, N.J.) won the A Doubles consolation bracket.
The tournament included A, B, and C flight singles competition and A and B doubles brackets. There were consolation brackets in each flight, and the participating schools were Ithaca, William Smith, Nazareth, St. Lawrence and Rochester.
