West Windsor, N.J. - The Ithaca men's tennis team (16-2) defeated Rochester Institute of Technology (7-7) 5-0 Saturday in an Empire 8 semifinal match. The Bombers advance to Sunday's championship against second-seeded Stevens Institute of Technology seeking their second consecutive league crown, fourth in the last five years, and an automatic qualifier in the NCAA Tournament.

Ithaca swept all three doubles matches and the first two singles matches. The match ended after the top two singles victories were completed and Ithaca had clinched enough points to earn the win.
