ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Honors continue to roll in for Nazareth basketball standout Corey McAdam. The senior guard from Fairport, N.Y. became Nazareth's first-ever first-team All-American Wednesday as he was chosen by the National Association of Basketball Coaches. He also earned first-team all-region honors from d3hoops.com and was chosen as the East Region's Player of the Year.

The NABC All-American team, sponsored by State Farm, is selected by member coaches of the NABC. McAdam was one of eight players selected to the first team. The d3hoops.com All-Region teams were selected by Sports Information Directors at various schools. There were 676 players nominated nationwide.

McAdam, who will compete in the NABC's inaugural Division III Senior All-Star game Saturday in Salem, Va., led the Golden Flyers to the Empire 8 Conference championship in 2010 and their second NCAA Tournament appearance in three years. He averaged 21.6 points and 5.6 assists per game while shooting better than 82 percent from the free-throw line (197-for-239). He completed his career with 1,865 points (second all-time) and 792 assists.
