MINNEAPOLIS -- Freshman Carissa Risucci earned All-American honors in the 200-yard breaststroke Saturday as she placed eighth in that event at the NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving championships at the University of Minnesota.
Risucci's time of 2:22.65 was slower than her prelim time, but she still finished eighth and earned All-American recognition. She earned honorable mention All-American honors by placing 15th in the 100 breaststroke on Friday.
Senior diver Lindsey Buzard also competed Saturday in the 3-meter competition and finished in 13th place with a score of 412.75 to become an honorable mention All-American.
