Ithaca Sweeps Empire 8 Men's and Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championship Titles For Third Consecutive Year
Ithaca College won its fourth consecutive men's title and third straight women's title at the 2010 Empire 8 Outdoor Track and Field Championships at RIT. Emma Dewart finished first in the 100-meter hurdles, high jump, and long jump to lead the Bombers' women's team to a 287-point total, 173 points ahead of runner-up RIT. Max Orenstein (100- and 200-meter dashes) and David Geary (800- and 1,500-meter runs) each won two events to pace the Bombers' men's team, which bettered runner-up RIT by 84 points.
