Ithaca Regionally Ranked For Third Straight Week
ITHACA, N.Y. – The Bomber women’s cross country squad ranks in the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches of America Atlantic-Region poll for the third consecutive week. Ithaca ranks seventh in the Sept. 21 poll after a sixth-place ranking a week ago.
The squad raced to a sixth-place finish at the Oneonta Airfield Invitational on Friday as junior Heidi Baumbach (Lake Placid/Lake Placid) moved into the Ithaca six-kilometer top-ten with a 22 minute, 46 second finish. She placed 15th overall to earn herself a second consecutive Empire 8 Runner of the Week honor.
