Nazareth Places Fourth at Roberts Wesleyan Invitational
ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Nazareth's men's cross country team turned in a fourth-place finish Saturday at the Harvey F. Anderson Invitational hosted by Roberts Wesleyan.
The Golden Flyers finished fourth in the men's race with 111 points. They trailed only Rochester (17), Mercyhurst (70) and Gannon (77) and were two points in front of Roberts Wesleyan (113).
Senior Matt Morales finished in fifth place on the 8-kilometer terrain in 26:49.35 -- 17 seconds behind the winner, Yuji Wakimoto of Rochester.
Nazareth also had junior Peter Fekete in 25th place (27:36.68); junior Tim Rutan in 36th place (28:30.43); sophomore Josh Strough in 48th place (29:27.31): and freshman Jake Lafaver in 53rd place (30:59.80).
