Tucker Healy Earns Preseason All-America Recognition
ITHACA, N.Y. -- Junior Tucker Healy (Needham/Needham, Mass.) of the Ithaca College baseball team has been named to Baseball America's preseason all-America team. Healey, who was a first-team choice as arelief pitcher, was the only player from New York chosen to the team.

Healy the third-best Division III prospect for the 2011 draft.
Healy, who was named the top relief pitcher in the New England Collegiate Baseball League over the summer, is a two-time first-team Empire 8 all-star. Last season he posted a 1.17 ERA in 14 appearances, striking out 47 batters in 30.2 innings. He picked up three saves and posted a 2-1 record. Healy held opponents to a .205 batting average.
The Bombers open the 2011 season March 4, playing Mount St. Vincent in Yaphank, N.Y.
