Bombers’ Men’s Track & Field Team Sits 25th in National Poll

ITHACA, N.Y. -- The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association ranked Ithaca’s men’s track & field team 25th in the nation in the Week 1 poll announced Wednesday. The Bombers are represented in the national top-20 in a pair individual events and one relay event.

The Bombers’ distance medley relay team of sophomore David Geary (Brighton/Rochester), freshman Brennan Edmonds (Charles O. Dickerson/Ithaca), junior Brian McCormick (Minnechaug/Wilbraham, Mass.) and graduate student William Way (Cheltenham/Glensdale, Pa.) sits second in the national standings with a time of 10:24.66.

Senior Kyle Devins (Ausable Valley/Peru) ranks 11th in the long jump and 20th in the triple with marks of 6.94 and 13.89 meters, respectively.
