NYSCTC Names McCord Track Athlete of the Week
ITHACA, N.Y. – Senior Marcia McCord (Rancocas Valley/Mount Holly, N.J.) was named NYSCTC Track Athlete of the Week for meets through Jan. 22 after provisionally qualifying for the NCAA Division III Indoor Championships on Saturday.
A four-time outdoor All-American, McCord hit the NCAA “B” standard in the triple jump with a mark of 11.29 meters to place fourth at the Cornell Upstate Challenge. She also ran to an ECAC-qualifying time of 59.52 seconds in the 400-meter dash to place second.
