St. John Fisher Men's Golf Places Seventh in Golfweek Invitational
The St. John Fisher College men’s golf team finished tied for seventh place at the Division III Golfweek Fall Invitational which took place at The Raven Golf Club at Sandestin in Florida. Fisher shot a three round total of 906 which tied them with Methodist University and Christopher Newport College.
After the first round Fisher was in fourth place with a team total score of 297, behind Thaddeus Wier’s two-under 69. Weir finished the tournament with a par 71 on Tuesday, totaling 219 for the invitational which landed him also tied for seventh place.
Tyler McArdell finished second for the Cardinals and tied for 13th overall on the player leader board, shooting a 69 in the final round and a 221 for a cumulative total. Joe Feeney helped Fisher move up four places on the final day, shooting a one-under 70 for his final round and finishing in the Top 50 for the invitational.
