Miles-Rath Represents Fisher at NCAA Championship

Freshman Cohen Miles-Rath finished in 122nd place Saturday afternoon at the NCAA Division III Cross Country Championship at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.  Miles-Rath was the lone runner for St. John Fisher College, after receiving one of seven bids to represent the Atlantic Region.
 
The Wayland-Cohocton native finished the eight-kilometer course with a time of 25:25.76, a pace of 5:07 per mile.  
 
A total of 560 runners from 134 different schools participated in the event, which was hosted at the Lake Breeze Golf Course in Winneconne, Wis.
 
Miles-Rath had a stellar first season with the Cardinals, as he was named the Empire 8 Conference’s Runner of the Year after placing first at the Empire 8 Championship on October 29th.  
 
Last weekend, Miles-Rath finished in 20th place at the NCAA Atlantic Regional to earn his individual bid to this weekend’s meet.
