Pairings Announced for Wendy's College Classic
Pairings for the 46th Annual Wendy’s College Classic were announced this evening at the RIT Inn and Conference Center. The St. John Fisher College women’s basketball team will begin play on Tuesday, while the men’s team will open first-round competition on Wednesday.
The women’s team will face the Rochester Institute of Technology Tigers in a 6 p.m. contest on Tuesday. The game will be held at Nazareth College.
The men’s team will also play at Nazareth in a 6 p.m. game, but will face the Hobart College Statesmen in its first match of the tournament on Wednesday.
Eight teams are competing in both the men’s and women’s brackets, with both finals being held at RIT on Saturday. Fisher will host the women’s consolation games on Thursday and the men’s consolation games on Friday.
