St. John Fisher Wins Multiple Events at RIT Early Season Invitational

The St. John Fisher College women’s indoor track team competed at the RIT Early Season Invitational Thursday night at the Gordon Field House.   
Nicoletta Lattuca won the women’s long jump with a distance of 5.16 meters.  The freshman also won her preliminary 60-meter dash heat to qualify for the finals.  She would go on to finish in fifth place with a time of 8.36 seconds.  Teammate Audrey Bowers also competed in the long jump, and finished in sixth place with a distance of 4.72 meters.
 
The team of Sheridan Corrigan, Morgan Mastin, Taylor Gallup and Emily Bearden placed first in the women’s 4x400 meter relay, holding off the competition with a time of 4:22.95 in the event. 
 
In the field events, Paige Willson, who won the shot put at Cornell on Saturday, placed third in the same event.  Willson threw for a distance of 10.76 meters, her furthest this season.
