Shea Named To D3hoops.com Team of the Week
ITHACA, N.Y. -- Junior center Devin Shea (St. Basil Academy/Huntingdon Valley, Pa.) of the Ithaca College's women's basketball team has been named to D3hoops.com's Team of the Week for the third week of the regular season.
Shea led Ithaca to a pair of wins last week as the Bombers matched the program's third-best start (6-0). She averaged 21.0 points, 9.5 rebounds, 3.0 steals and 2.0 assists per game while shooting 69.6 percent (16 of 23) from the floor. Shea posted career-best figures of 30 points and 15 rebounds in Tuesday's win over Cortland, recording the program's first 30-point/15-rebound game, then collected 12 points and four steals in Friday's romp over St. Lawrence. She also blocked three shots during the week; her career total of 49 ranks 11th on Ithaca's all-time list.
