Ithaca Women's Basketball Team Ranked Fifth In NCAA East Region
Indianapolis, Ind. – The Ithaca women’s basketball team (15-5, 11-0 Empire 8) is ranked fifth in the NCAA East Region rankings. The regional rankings, which include games through Feb. 8, are based on the same criteria used to select and rank teams for the NCAA playoffs.
The Bombers, who have already clinched a spot in the Empire 8 Championship Tournament, take thier nine-game winning streak to a weekend series at St. John Fisher (Friday) and Alfred (Saturday).
