Berry Joins DIII Elite in Utica loss to St. John Fisher

Rochester, N.Y. (2/12/2011) – Utica College senior forward Jessica Berry scored 29 points on her way to becoming the 11th player in NCAA Division III women’s basketball history to score 2,000 points and grab 1,000 rebounds as the Pioneers lost to host St. John Fisher College 82-79 Saturday afternoon. SUNY Cortland’s Jessica Laing ’10 was the last player to accomplish the feat on Feb. 12 of last year.
Berry also added a game-high 13 rebounds, three assists and three steals for the Pioneers. She now has a school-record 2,013 points to go along with 1,033 career rebounds.
