Ithaca Men’s Track & Field Concludes Competition at the Armory
ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca men’s track & field team concluded competition at the Armory on Saturday as day two of the New Balance Collegiate Invitational came to a close.
Graduate student William Way (Cheltenham/Glenside, Pa.) led the Bombers on the track with a season-best 4:22.32-mile run performance.
Ithaca competed in a pair of relays as the Bombers set a season-best time of 1:30.75 in the 800-meter relay and finished the 1,600 relay in 3:26.64.
The 4x200 relay was comprised of freshmen Jake Willis (Gorham/Gorham, Maine) and Brennan Edmonds (Charles O. Dickerson/Ithaca) and seniors Max Orenstein (Trumbull/Trumbull, Conn.) and Jeff Wetmore (Maple Grove/Bemus Point). Sophomore Chris Mastrosimone (Fairport/Fairport) teamed with Edmonds, Orenstein and Wetmore in the 4x400.
