Cardinals Crack Top 20 In National Poll
The St. John Fisher College men's lacrosse program has moved up four spots to No. 17 in this week's USILA poll. Fisher (4-0) posted two wins last week, knocking off SUNY Oswego 11-3 at home on Tuesday and rallied to earn a 9-6 win at Clarkson University on Saturday.
This is the fourth straight year the Cardinals have started a season by winning their first four games.
Fisher started last season off 12-0 and finished the season with a 16-2 overall record, setting a College-record for most wins in a season for the sixth straight year.
Fisher will play three games over the next six days. The Cardinals will host SUNY Brockport at 4 p.m. today before traveling to SUNY Oneonta on Saturday. On Monday, Fisher will host SUNY Geneseo. The Knights are currently ranked one spot behind Fisher in the national poll.
