Pioneers Take Second at UC Invitational

Utica, NY - The Utica College men's golf team took second place Saturday as the host of the 2011 UC Spring Invitational held at Hidden Valley Golf Club. Senior captain Matt Jarvi struck a career-low 76 to lead the Pioneers.
Jarvi shot 41 on the front and finished with a remarkable 35 on the back to register his career round. Junior Isaac Noma recorded an 82 while shooting a 38 on the front. Sophomore John Gaspa finished with an 83, while senior Tyler Iles shot an 84 in his first outing of his senior campaign.
