St. John Fisher Wins Edward Jones Shootout

The St. John Fisher College men’s golf team shot a 297 for the second straight day to win the Edward Jones Shootout, hosted by Carnegie Mellon University.

Fisher finished with two-day total of 594 to earn a four-stroke victory over runner-up University of Rochester (299-299=598).

Tyler McArdell was the medalist for the second straight tournament.  The junior shot 71 on Saturday and 68 on Sunday, to finish at 1-under-par (139) for the two rounds.  Brady Yates (78-72) finished 10^th overall, while Chris Clapper (71-82) placed 16^th overall.
