Ithaca Women's Golf Wins Spring Invitational
ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca women's golf team concluded its season with a nine-hole tournament, hosted on the back nine at Country Club of Ithaca. The Bombers scored 173 to place first in team scoring, followed by William Smith (195) and Le Moyne (201). Two individuals from Cornell's club team also participated in the 22-person field.
Ithaca freshman Amanda Failla (Farmington/Unionville, Conn.) earned medalist honors with a score of 39. She was followed by sophomore Brooke Llobell (East Islip/Great River) with a 42. Ithaca placed three additional players in the top-10, with senior Lauren Ryan (Concord/Concord, N.H.) tied for fourth (45) and senior Christie O'Shea (John Jay/Hopewell Junction) and sophomore Jackie Young (Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake/Burnt Hills) tied for seventh (47).
