RIT Men's Tennis Shuts out Hartwick

ONEONTA, NY -- The RIT men's tennis team defeated Hartwick College 9-0 in Empire 8 action on Saturday afternoon. The win improves the Tigers to 7-6 on the season, including 6-2 in the Empire 8.

In doubles action, Tennyson Saucedo (Pittsford, NY/Pittsford Sutherland) and Will Abisalih (Merrimac, MA/Phillips Exeter Academy) were winners in the first spot. Neville Bilimoria (Mumbai/Schiller International) and Larry Hall (Fairport, NY/Fairport) downed Sean Barr and Mike del Rosario 8-2, and Max Bogue (Colchester, VT/Colchester) and Alex Russin (Rochester, NY/Brighton) defeated Bobby Amberson and Ron Lambertson 8-2.

In singles, all six RIT players won. Saucedo needed three sets to win at first singles, winning the third set 14-12. Larry Hall was the only other Tiger to go three sets, defeating Sean Barr 3-6, 7-5, 10-7 at fourth singles.
