Bob Simms Named Regional Coach of the Year
Bob Simms, head coach of the men’s and women’s golf programs at St. John Fisher College, adds yet another award to his list as the Eaton Corporation announces its Eaton Golf Pride Region Coaches of the Year for the 2010-11 season.
Simms earned the honor for the Division III Mid-Atlantic Region after leading the men’s golf team to its eighth Empire 8 Conference title in the last 12 years this season. Under the direction of the former national coach of the year, Fisher won three of its last four tournaments and was ranked in the national coaches’ poll throughout the season.
