St. John Fisher Men's Cross County Places Third At Hamilton

The St. John Fisher College men’s cross country team placed third out of eight teams at the 2011 Hamilton College Short Course Invitational on Saturday.

Fisher finished with 104 points, beating out Division II-program Mansfield State University by three points for third place.

Fisher’s Cohen Miles-Rath placed fourth overall, finished the 6-K race in 19:48, just 12 seconds out of first place.

Fisher’s Evan Magnussen finished in 21:20 and placed 19^th overall, while Matt Herbert (22^nd) posted a time of 21:28.

Sean Morgan ended in 27^th place and finished in 21:44, while Kevin Jablonski closed out the scoring and came through with a time of 22:10, good for 32^nd place.

Fisher will return to action in two weeks at the Houghton College Invitational.
