Vizgaitis of Nazareth Wins Twice at William Smith
GENEVA, N.Y. -- Junior Alex Vizgaitis won two matches Sunday to finish first in the consolation bracket of the A Flight as Nazareth competed as the Mary Hosking Invitational hosted by William Smith.
Vizgaitis defeated Rochester's Shauki Tillekeratne 8-2 in the semifinal match and then William Smith's Kiara Ocasio 8-3 in the final match. Ocasio advanced by defeating Nazareth's Alison Tepas 9-8(7-1).
Junior Cara Yinger also competed and lost to St. Lawrence's Anna Young in the B Flight consolation bracket 8-3.
