Bombers, Baumbach Claim First Place at Oneonta Airfield Invitational
Oneonta, N.Y. -- The Ithaca women's cross country team won the six-team Oneonta Airfield Invitational on Saturday having scored 29 points, three points ahead of second-place host Oneonta.
Senior Heidi Baumbach (Lake Placid/Lake Placid) won the six-kilometer race in 23:08.
Junior Carly Graham (West Genesee/Syracuse) placed third in 23:37, while freshman Alexa Rick (Elyria Catholic/Elyria, Ohio) followed in fourth for the Bombers crossing the line in 23:42.
Freshman Anastasia Diamond (Pennsbury/Yardley, Pa.) was the fourth Bomber to place in the top 10 as she finished 10th clocking in at 24:11. Senior Molly Brown (North Penn/Landsdale, Pa.) placed 11th just three seconds later finishing in 24:14.
Senior Molly Quinn (C.W. Baker/Baldwinsville) ran 14th for the Bombers and sophomore Allison Bartkowiak (Lockport/Lockport) placed 22nd. They finished with times of 24:22 and 24:38, respectively.
