Elmira Goes Undefeated at Empire 8 Volleyball Crossover
Elmira was the only team to win all four of its matches at the first Empire 8 Volleyball Crossover weekend. The Soaring Eagles improved to 12-1 with its 4-0 mark and sit in first place in the race to earn the top seed and right to host the Empire 8 Volleyball Championship the first weekend of November.
St. John Fisher will host the second crossover weekend Oct. 21-22 with each team playing three matches. Nazareth College and Stevens Institute of Technology each went 3-1, while the Cardinals and defending conference champion Ithaca College split four matches.
