Ithaca Women's Soccer Ranked 24th Nationally, Fourth In Region
ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca women’s soccer team (1-0-1) earned a 24th-place ranking in the first national poll of the regular season conducted by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. The Bombers are fourth in the NSCAA’s East Region poll. Ithaca makes its home debut Wednesday, facing Marywood at 4 p.m.
The Bombers opened their season with a 2-1 upset over nationally ranked The College of New Jersey Saturday before knotting with host Elizabethtown, 2-2, on Sunday to claim a top finish at the 2011 Blue Jay Classic.
