Ithaca Men's Swimming & Diving Performances Ranks Nationally
ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca men's swimming & diving team's overall performance at the Henry Kumpf Invitational measured in the top-10 nationally according to a statistical ranking. The Bombers placed first in a field of eight teams under championship-meet scoring and defeated seven other teams in dual-meet scoring Saturday at Rensselaer. Ithaca is ranked 10th nationally in the Avidasports Performance Rankings for Division III men's teams with 75.5 points.
The Avidasports Performance Index is a ranking of average percentile for each team's individual swims compared to a database of best times achieved by collegiate swimmers over the past three years. Ithaca's performance at the Kumpf Invitational ranked very highly in relation to the top times by Division III men's swimmers and divers over the last three years.
