Bombers Compete at Cornell Pentathlon
ITHACA, N.Y. – Two Ithaca women’s track & field athletes competed and completed the Cornell Pentathlon hosted Friday.
Senior Ashley Dlubac (Merrimack Valley/Loudon, N.H.) placed fourth and sophomore Rachael Travers (Pentucket Regional/Haverhill, Mass.) finished fifth with 2,398 and 2,202 points, respectively.
Dlubac finished the 60-meter hurdles in 10.56, placed second in the shot with a 9.07-meter heave, the high jump clearing 1.27 meters, the long with a jump of 4.70 meters and the 800 run in 2:50.37.
Travers finished the 60 hurdles in 10.93, the shot put with a mark of 6.35 meters, the high jump clearing 1.42 meters, the long jump with a mark of 4.36 meters and the 800 run in 2:52.95.
The Bombers will next compete on Saturday, Jan. 28 hosting the Empire 8 championships.
