Lewis Repeats Empire 8 Honor 10/1/2012 2:27:00 PM Houghton College cross country runner Jillian Lewis (Phoenix, NY/Phoenix HS) earned her second-straight Empire 8 Conference Runner of the Week honor after her performance during the week of September 24-20. Lewis repeats as the conference runner of the week after clocking a personal best 6K at the Geneseo Invitational at Letchworth State Park. Lewis ran a 23:27.7, improving by two and half minutes, to place14th out of 84 runners. The Highlanders return to action on October 13 at the Gettysburg Invitational.
