Nunez Named E8 Women's Tennis Player of the Week
ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Senior Cristina Nunez won the first singles bracket at the 2012 New York State Division III Women's Tennis Championships over the weekend to earn Empire 8 Women’s Tennis Player of the Week honors announced Monday.
Nunez claimed a 3-0 record defeating opponents from Vassar, Nazareth and Skidmore.
Ithaca will next compete at the Empire 8 tennis championship tournament in Rochester on Oct. 20-21.
