Ithaca Ranked in Top 10 in Seven Categories: Utica's Spohler Third in Game-Winning Goals

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The #4 Ithaca women's soccer team (13-0-1, 4-0-1 Empire 8) ranks in the top 10 nationally in four team categories and has players represented in three individual categories in the most recent NCAA Division III women's soccer national summary.

Utica College senior Samantha Spohler ranks third in the nation with 6.0 game-winning goals. Ithaca senior Rachael Palladino ranks eighth in the same category, while classmate Becca Salant sits seventh and ninth, respectively, with a save percentage of 0.929 and goals against average of 0.32.

The Bombers rank fourth out of 300 teams with a win-loss-tie percentage of 0.964, fifth with a shutout percentage of 0.786, sixth with a save percentage of 0.937 and seventh with a goals-against average of 0.278.
