Spohler National Leader in Game Winning Goals
The NCAA released the Division III women’s soccer statistical leaders on Oct. 2 and Utica College senior Samantha Spohler is the national leader in game winning goals at six this season. She is tied with two players (Mt. St. Mary (NY) and Brandeis) to top the category.
The Pioneers (6-4) have won every game in which Spohler has scored this season and are hoping she can find the back of the net on Saturday, Oct. 6, as they host St. John Fisher. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m.
