Stevens Men’s Soccer Improves to No. 6

HOBOKEN, N.Y. (October 25, 2012) – The Stevens Institute of Technology men’s soccer team has risen to No. 6 in the latest national poll conducted by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA). The Ducks also remain among the national leaders in numerous statistical categories.
Stevens also improved from No. 16 to No. 15 in the D3Soccer.com poll.
Junior goalkeeper Paul Killian (Ellicott City, Md.) is ranked seventh nationally in save percentage and eighth in goals-against average. As a team, Stevens is 23rd in shutout percentage and now boasts the 14th-best winning percentage in the nation.
Offensively, senior Victor Daza (North Plainfield, N.J.) remains among the Top-100 players in the country in points per game (65th), total points (53rd), total goals (85th), assists per game (77th) and total assists (49th). As a team, the Ducks rank 56th in scoring offense, 49th in total goals, 56th in total assists and 52nd in total points.
