Bombers Maintain National Ranking
ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College women's soccer team (15-0-1, 6-0-1 Empire 8) is off to its best start in program history. The Bombers maintained their
National Soccer Coaches Association of America and
D3Soccer.com rankings of fourth in the week eight polls.
Ithaca ranks in the top five nationally in four team categories and has players represented in three individual categories in the most recent NCAA Division III women's soccer national summary.
Senior
Becca Salant (Holliston, Mass./Holliston) sits fourth and fifth, respectively, with a goals-against average of 0.281 and a save percentage of 0.932. Senior
Rachael Palladino(Lansing/Lansing) ranks in the top 20 in the nation at 18th with 5.0 game-winning goals.
The Bombers rank second with a shutout percentage of 0.813, second with a save percentage of 0.939, second with a goals-against average of 0.244 and third out of 300 teams with a win-loss-tie percentage of 0.969.
