Bombers Atop NCAA Statistical Rankings, Latest National Rankings Announced
The #8/9 Ithaca College women's soccer team (16-0-1, 6-0-1 Empire 8) ranks in the top 10 nationally in four team categories and has players represented in two individual categories in the most recent NCAA Division III women's soccer national summary. National Soccer Coaches Association of America ranking to ninth in the week nine polls announced Tuesday. Ithaca ranked fourth in both of the week eight polls.
Senior
Becca Salant (Holliston, Mass./Holliston) sits seventh and ninth, respectively, with a save percentage of 0.906 and a goals-against average of 0.37.
The Bombers rank fourth with a save percentage of .917, sixth with a goals-against average of .326, seventh with a shutout percentage of .722 and eighth with a win-loss-tie percentage of .917.
The Bombers return to play on Saturday, Nov. 3 against St. John Fisher in the semifinal round of the Empire 8 Championship Tournament at Carp Wood Field.
