Amy Regan Tabbed Empire 8 Runner of the Week

Amy Regan (Green Brook, N.J.) repeats as Empire 8 runner of the week after becoming the first Stevens Institute of Technology women’s cross country runner to win the Empire 8 Conference Championship at Saratoga Springs, N.Y. on Saturday. Regan also set a new school record on the by over one minute to lead the women’s team to a fourth place finish.
Regan is also the first non-Ithaca runner to claim the title since the inception of the conference in 2003. She won the meet by over 14 seconds in a race of 98 runners that measured 3.04-mile course in a time of 18:08.46.
