Fisher Men's Golf Wins ECACs Yet Again

The nationally-ranked St. John Fisher College men’s golf team finished with a two-day total of 602 – 29 strokes better than the second-placed finishers – and captured the ECAC Upstate/Metro Championship on Sunday at Blue Heron Hills Country Club.
The victory marks the seven straight year time the Cardinals have won ECACs.
 
Fisher shot a 302 on Saturday and a 300 on Sunday.  Runner-ups Clarkson University and St. Lawrence University both finished at 631.   Nine schools competed in the event.
 
Thad Wier was the Championship’s medalist, finishing at +2, including an even-par round of 72 on Sunday.
Joseph Radulski finished tied for second place at +4, shooting 75 and 73, respectively.
 
Chris Blyth shot 76-78 (+10) and was in fifth place overall.  Ryan McGinnis and Corey Haas both shot 155 (+11) and were tied for sixth place.
