Houghton senior forward Ashley Engle has been added to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III Senior Game roster.

The game will played on Saturday, Nov. 17 at 4 p.m. at William Smith College as part of the NCAA Division III Final Four Weekend. The NCAA Division III National Championship game will be played on the same field the following day.

Originally an alternate, Engle was named to the team after another player was unable to participate. Hartwick forward Kelsey Kimble, Nazareth midfielder Kailee O’Hara and Washington and Jefferson’s Erin Barno and Jennifer Marabella will also be playing in the All-Star game.

A First Team All-Empire 8 Conference selection, Engle provided the firepower on a Highlander team that finished 9-8. She led the team with 14 goals and seven assists during her final campaign. Her goal total was tied for third in the E8, while she tied for seventh in the conference in assists. She was 2-for-2 on penalty strokes.

She finished her four-year career with 30 goals and 28 assists, both ranking among the top-10 in team history.
