Morrison Earns Empire 8 Men's S&D Athlete of the Week Accolades
ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Sophomore Matt Morrison won both diving events Saturday to be named Empire 8 Men’s Swimming & Diving Athlete of the Week.
Morrison earned a score of 313.10 on the 3-meter board and 280.35 on the 1-meter board. Both scores met the NCAA qualifying standard and Morrison has qualified for the NCAA Diving Regionals, which Ithaca will host. The Bombers picked up a 179-58 win over Geneseo and a 180-61 win over Hamilton. Hartwick defeated Ithaca 138-99.
Ithaca returns to action on Nov. 30 when they host the Bomber Invitational.
