Women's Basketball Weekly Honors go to Foglia and Krause

Hartwick College junior guard Maria Foglia and Stevens Institute of Technology freshman centere Dylan Krause received recognition from the Empire 8 for their performances last week. 
           
Foglia averaged 15 points and six assists per game for Hartwick this past week as the Hawks split a pair of games. On Tuesday, in Hartwick's Empire 8 opener, she scored 12 points and dished out a season-high seven assists in a 58-50 victory over Utica. She added five rebounds and three steals in the game. On Friday in a 58-51 loss to St. Lawrence, she notched game-highs of 18 points, five assists, three three-pointers, and three steals. She also contributed three rebounds in the game.
           
Krause was named the Empire 8 Rookie of the Week after posting double-doubles in both of the Ducks' games. She averaged 15 points, 13 boards and 2.5 blocks in last week's contests. Krause finished with 11 points and 10 rebounds in the team's overtime loss to New Paltz on Tuesday. The Atlanta native then scored 19 points and grabbed 16 rebounds to lead all players in efficiency rating on Friday night at Utica.
